Varnish/Coating

Used to create visual effects and to seal inks thus preventing rub-off, press coatings are used in sheet fed printing using 3 different technologies: varnishes, aqueous coatings and ultra violet coatings.

Policrom has developed:
Policoat – a coating plate used for indirect coating applications
Polistriplate – a PET backed coating blanket with a rubber surface
Polispot – a coating blanket substitute used for direct coating units.

All products work well with varnishes, aqueous and UV coatings.
